Association of Security Trainers

As part of our attempt to improve training standards within the security industry we aim to introduce an Association of Security Trainers. The Association will be run by the members and we hope that it will become a source of work and useful information for Security trainers. There will be no expensive gimmicks like ‘roving trainer status’ which isn’t required by any regulation and competence will be measured in terms of experience and ability, not just qualifications.

If you are interested in improving the standard of training within the security industry and wish to register with us, this service is currently free, please request a trainer registration form by sending an email to ast@a2zsecuritygroup.com .  Complete the form and return it to us with copies of your training qualification certificates. Before we enter your details onto our database we will verify any qualifications and sector competence you claim to have and, in order to remain on the database, you will have to show what continuous professional development you have completed in every three month period. We hope that this Association will set the standard for trainers within the security industry and that it will be used by all organisations seeking excellent security training.
